How Wabtec Keeps New Product Introduction on the Fast Track

Delivering the level of quality your customers expect at the ever-increasing pace of business today is more challenging than ever.  You need to make quality a strategic priority throughout the manufacturing lifecycle -- from managing new product specifications and the analysis of product and process design to communicating product quality planning requirements to your suppliers.

Join Stephen Pfister, Senior Manager Product Management, at Wabtec Corporation and David Isaacson, Senior Director of Product Marketing, ETQ, to learn how a flexible QMS has been a cornerstone of Wabtec’s successful new product introductions.  Wabtec is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services in the freight rail, transit, mining, industrial and marine industries and the largest producer of diesel-electric locomotives in North America.

You’ll hear their quality journey and learn:

  • How Wabtec uses a QMS to reduce the cost of quality across their organization and ensure suppliers are meeting their quality commitments and customer feedback is used throughout product design
  • How an integrated QMS streamlines their manufacturing framework and new product introduction process including their new fully electric locomotives.
  • Best practices and lessons learned along the way
