# **The Pulse of Quality in Manufacturing Survey Report**

A recent survey of 750 global quality professionals revealed some alarming insights about the gap between perceived and actual quality in manufacturing: 

- 52% attribute up to half of recalls to supplier issues.
- Respondents in the US., U.K. and Germany said the cost to remediate their most recent recall was: 
    - US: 39% said 10M – 49.8M USD
    - UK: 50% said 8M -39.9M pounds
    - Ger: 41% said 10M – 49.99M euros
