The holiday season is fast approaching but the ETQ team is looking past the annual festival of over-indulgence and digging out our Panama hats and patterned shirts. And while vice is the last thing on our mind, the opportunity to inspire quality vision in sunny Miami is already firmly inked into our calendars.

A core factor in ETQ’s ongoing mission to inspire excellence and move companies along their quality journey, the spring customer conference is the perfect opportunity for attendees to learn more about the latest ETQ solutions and innovations.

Running over five days from March 2nd to March 6th, ETQ Quality Vision 2020 will feature keynotes, conference sessions, ETQ-led training sessions and numerous opportunities to network with other members of the ETQ community. As an added bonus, the event will feature the return of our Innovation Awards and debut the Quality Leadership Forum.

“We are excited to share that the ETQ Spring Conference is now open for registration,” said ETQ chief marketing officer Nina McIntyre. “The conference will be branded as ETQ Quality Vision 2020, which speaks to our customers’ quality goals as well as the role that the conference plays in allowing ETQ to share our product vision and company strategy.”

In fact, the 2020 conference will have a defined focus on promoting the value of quality … from suppliers to customers and even customer’s customers. Creating a culture of quality is not just a matter of ticking boxes, and ETQ Quality Vision 2020 has been designed to showcase the importance of not just brand reputation and consumer trust but also how quality can accelerate revenue and new product introduction.

How to “Inspire Excellence”

Drawing from our fall conference theme of harnessing the power of ETQ Reliance, the spring version is “Inspire Excellence.” ETQ’s mantra that quality creates strong companies has been our North Star for some time, and we believe that competitive advantage grows when companies take an agile approach to quality management.

Quality leaders have to be both practitioners and evangelists within their company ecosystem, and ETQ’s Miami conference will move attendees forward on their individual quest for excellence and continuous improvement. A culture of quality is driven by the people who inspire excellence in a company, hence the theme of our 2020 event

The opportunity to learn from fellow attendees has been one of the pillars of previous conferences and ETQ Quality Vision 2020 will be no different. With that in mind, the conference will bring product innovation, best practices and subject matter expertise under one roof, with the goal being to inform, educate and, hopefully, entertain.

Returning favorites and new additions

The return of our annual Innovation Awards and the addition of the Quality Leadership Forum to a packed schedule also cements our vision for the future of quality.

The Innovation Awards recognizes ETQ customers who have implemented ETQ Reliance and achieved excellent and innovative outcomes, resulting in a significant impact on their business. To put it simply, if your company has created an innovative solution to manage and measure quality, EHS or compliance with ETQ’s platform, then we want to know. The application process is now live and there is no fee to enter, with the top three solutions presented to conference attendees in Miami. Details on how to apply can be found on the conference website.

The Quality Leadership Forum will take place on Monday afternoon for a half day before the start of the main conference. Attendees will learn and trends from industry experts and thought leaders, all of which will be key components in executing an ongoing quality strategy.

What you need to know about Quality Vision

2020 will be the 24th year that ETQ has held an annual conference and attendees can expect to come away with the following:

  • Knowledge expansion from hands-on sessions and training on ETQ solutions
  • Best practices from fellow quality champions
  • Quality connections from networking opportunities and interactive discussions
  • Advanced business strategies that have quality as a differentiator
  • An understanding of how to maximize the return on investment in ETQ solutions
  • New ways to attain greater impact in quality-related work
  • On-site scheduled one-to-one consultations with ETQ rockstars

ETQ Quality Vision 2020 will feature four distinct dimensions in its conference sessions – Knowledge, Interaction, Leadership and Training. Three out of the four were the bedrock of the fall conference, with Leadership the new kid on the block.

ETQ Passport Training

The ETQ Passport Training sessions have also been expanded and now provide in-depth guidance for five different class or knowledge levels – Administration, Designer, ETQScript, Advanced, and Mobile Designer.

The latter is a new addition to the ETQ training offerings and will provide attendees with the tools they need to deploy mobile functionality in their Reliance implementation. As was the case at the fall conference, ETQ Passport Training is scheduled for two days in Miami. Full details can be found on the conference website.

Mapping the quality vision journey in Miami

The five-day event kicks off at the Hilton Miami Downtown Hotel on March 2, with open registration and a full half-day dedicated to the ETQ Quality Leadership Forum. These sessions will include a keynote, customer presentations, quality roundtables and ETQ-led conversations. An opening reception will follow in the evening for all conference attendees.

Product Strategy Sessions take center stage for the next two days – March 3rd and 4th – and will include a welcome and keynote session led by CEO Rob Gremley, CTO Morgan Palmer and CMO Nina McIntyre. Topics will include an update on ETQ, its Reliance SaaS software, the vision and the product roadmap. Full details about the Product Strategy Sessions will be published in the near future.

In addition, there will be a chance for attendees to hear presentations from the Innovation Awards Finalists. And those are the sorts of customer stories and experiences that make us feel warm and fuzzy.

The award ceremony itself closes out Day 3, before attendees continue their networking and mingling at the innovative and spectacular Frost Museum. More information about the Innovation Awards themselves can be found in the conference FAQs, but applications must be received no later than January 10th.

Days 4 and 5 – March 5th and 6th – are devoted to training. These sessions will run from 8:30 in the morning on the 5th to 5:00 pm, and will include a networking lunch with industry peers. In the evening, we encourage attendees to take the time to channel their inner Crockett and Tubbs by exploring Miami. The sessions run from and end at the same time on the 6th.

“The annual conference is an event that ETQ customers should want to be a part of,” said McIntyre. “We promised that we would be hosting two great conferences within six months, and there is a tangible sense of excitement about bringing the ETQ team to Miami. Our customers told us that the fall event in Dallas was a tremendous success, but this was a precursor to what we believe is a more extensive and immersive customer experience.”

Full details of the conference sessions and speakers will be published in the new year, but registration, location and pricing options can be found here. See you in Miami.

From 2020 onwards, the spring customer conference will replace the annual fall event. This is a larger event than the one we recently held in Dallas, and attendees will gain practical experience and training in all aspects of ETQ’s Reliance 2019 SaaS solution.

Spaces and hotel rooms are expected to fill up fast, so don’t delay and book your place at ETQ Quality Vision 2020 today.
