Risk Mitigation and Global Harmonization in Quality Systems Seminar
Posted by Tim Lozier on Thu, Mar 31, 2011

Normally, I'm not one to push the "events agenda" on the blog, but I wanted to speak about this particular event, simply because the topics and the speaker lineup are right in line with what I typically yammer on about here.
In my previous post I spoke about Global Harmonization, and a few weeks ago I spoke on Risk Mitigation. Both are interesting concepts. At first glance they may seem dissimilar, but when you look at them from a high level, they have a common theme. Both are concepts that are leading edge right now, but are set to become standard practice in the near future. This is especially prevalent in the Life Sciences industry (but really all industries can benefit from them), where regulatory oversight provides a catalyst for advancing technology concepts in Quality and Compliance along before all other industries. Global Harmonization and Risk Mitigation strategies are coming, and what better way to get knowledge on these concepts than from your peers. That's exactly what's happening in New Jersey (of all places).
This April 12th in Bridgewater, NJ there will be a exclusive seminar on Risk Mitigation and Global Harmonization in Quality Management Systems. In this one day (and free) seminar, some of the key people from several major life sciences organizations will speak about their lessons learned in Global Harmonization and Risk Mitigation in their business. Furthermore, this is a great opportunity to have a group mindshare on how technology is evolving to meet these concepts.
The seminar will be featuring speakers from Johnson & Johnson, Celgene Corp, Novartis, and a few others. There is no better way to learn about solutions than from those who've already implemented them, and this is a great opportunity to join in the discussion (there will be free food, too).
To register for this free seminar, go to www.etq.com/seminar and sign up. The full agenda is on there, and you can come and see what the fuss is all about. It's being held at the Bridgewater Marriott, right there in the midst of Life Sciences Alley.
I wouldn't be mentioning this in my blog if I didn't truly believe in the power of the live event. I've spoken in the past about the power of the personal touch, and this is a great opportunity if you have the time to attend.
Between the topic, the location, the speakers and the free food - Risk Mitigation and Global Harmonization in Quality Management Systems is a must attend seminar for all.
